The Dumfries & Galloway network needs your help!

The annual Dumfries and Galloway Environment Fair is on Saturday 8 March.  It is a very busy and interesting event (more here: http://www.dgenvironmentfair.btck.co.uk/), well worth a visit and this year we are planning to have an D and G Eco Congregation Network stand.

The plan is to base the stand around the carbon food print game (this involves identifying where in the world food comes from and putting it in order of carbon used in production / transport – some very surprising results).  We will also have information about Eco-Congregation Scotland and it will be an opportunity to inform other church-goers (and non church-goers) what Eco-Congregations are and do.

The event runs from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm so we need some help with manning the stand.  We need to cover from 09:00 am – 4:00 pm (including setting up and clearing up)!  Can you do a “slot”?  If you can help for an hour (or two!) please contact Matthew Aitken (of the Dunscore Eco Congregation) on 01387 820448 or auchenage@gmail.com.  We really do need your support!  Thanks.
