On Shrove Tuesday Christ Church Morningside and HeatHack will be teaming up with the University of Edinburgh for a special event as part of Innovative Learning Week. As part of a drive to understand where the heat goes, we’ll be building a 3D model of the temperature and air movement in the space using balloons, electronics, kebab skewers, and a whole range of professional equipment.

The event should be of special interest to engineering students, but is open to the wider community. We welcome people interested mainly in the spectacle to come as observers any time, or just for the traditional Shrove Tuesday pancakes.
