Saturday October 4th: Glasgow Allotments Forum Autumn event 12 – 4pm

The Glasgow Eco-Congregation network are invited to the Glasgow Allotments Forum Autumn Event at The Pearce Institute, 840-860 Govan Road, Glasgow G51 3UU on Saturday 4th October 12pm-4pm.

The program begins with the presentation of the awards followed by the opportunity to attend workshops, browse the information and produce stalls, chat to other plot-holders and grab a cuppa & some home baking.

Workshops include:

  • Grow the world in Glasgow – Glasgow’s plot-holders come from all over the world and bring a taste of home through what they grow and what they cook – find out more and expand your own horizons!
  • Fund raising – How to raise funds for projects and improvements
  • Recycling and Water Management 
  • Greener Glasgow 2015 – a new initiative from Glasgow City Council for the city including projects, events, demonstrations and information about making Glasgow greener.
