Apply now to join the UK Youth Climate Coalition’s international delegation to the United Nations Climate Conferences.

Applications are open for the UK Youth Climate Coalition’s 2017 international delegation for the annual United Nations Climate Conferences.

We received this from the UK Youth Climate Coalition:

The UK Youth Climate Coalition is a volunteer-run organisation that inspires young people to act on climate change for a clean, fair future. We train up and send delegates to the UN climate talks every year so that the voice of UK youth is represented at these crucial conferences. Delegates work with young people from across the world to pressure governments and other bodies to be ambitious in tackling climate change for the sake of future generations.
The climate talks that took place in Morocco last November were amazingly important. This year, key discussions will be hosted by Fiji, held in Germany – it is crucial for young people to have our voices heard in this complex process. However, our work doesn’t just stop there; UKYCC is active all year round, creating campaigns, networking with other organisations, lobbying politicians and so much more.

The new UK delegates will be fully trained and supported throughout the whole process leading up towards Germany and afterwards. We’ll be running an international campaign, organising with international youth before the UN talks, drinking lots of tea and having loads of fun!

Please find our Delegation Pack on our website which gives more info about who we are and what the team is all about. If you’re between the ages of 18-29 and have a couple of hours a week to spare, apply to be an international delegate at http://ukycc.org/apply/
