Having just begun the construction phase of their new building, Castlemilk Parish Church have already scooped a Bronze Award from the Laing Family Trust for the Best Church Building Project. This is, in part, for the Woodwork Project, which will reuse the wood from the old East building and the existing building into fittings and furnishing for the new building. (See here for further details).

On Saturday 12th December they are holding a service with the Moderator, Rt. Rev Dr Angus Morrison, to bless the Dedication Stone.
