Faiths in Scotland Community Action Fund

FiSCAF—Faiths in Scotland Community Action Fund works with local faith groups, building hope by providing grants and support in Scotland’s most fragile urban and rural communities.

Since April 2009,  Faiths in Scotland Community Action Fund has awarded grants in excess of £1,000,000 to support groups in Scotland’s most fragile urban and rural communities.

FiSCAF’s first deadline of 2017 will focus exclusively with projects who’s work has children and young adults at its centre.

We are calling from applications from faith-based registered charities, who either work with, or aim to begin working with people under the age of 18. In a break from our usual format, for this deadline we are offering awards for one year up to £5000.00, and all funds must be spent within 12 months of the Award Date.

Deadline for applications is the 10th of February and open to all charities who meet our usual criteria and have never received funding from the STV Children’s Appeal. For more information call Chris on 0141 221 4544 or check out our “How To Apply” section in the sidebar.

Our application dates for 2017 are as follows: At each scheduled committee meeting, FiSCAF will receive applications for both small and major grants.

  • 10th February 2017 (decisions by start of April)
  • 7th April 2017 (decisions by start of June)
  • 29th September 2017 (decisions by start of December)
