iPower to support community-based renewable heat projects

Scottish social enterprise iPower has teamed up with a social finance partner to support community-based renewable heat projects which serve groups of buildings. These could include well-used church buildings along with neighbouring homes or other buildings,  especially in areas off the gas grid. Various renewable heat sources could be used. At present, the Renewable Heat Incentive programme is particularly favourable towards heat pump-based solutions.
