Keep Scotland Beautiful is gathering views of people in Scotland on COP21.

In September of this year Keep Scotland Beautiful launched a public consultation to find out what people in Scotland think about the Paris climate change talks, COP21.  The consultation asks for the views of people in Scotland on the prospect of a new international climate change agreement as well as specific aspects of climate change action that will be key issues in the negotiations and in the local delivery needed following the talks.

The consultation will close on the 6th of November, and following this, Keep Scotland Beautiful will collate and analyse the responses and produce a summary briefing to give to the Scottish Government delegation going to Paris.  This consultation is an important way to gather and present a strong viewpoint from the people of Scotland to the talks in Paris.  In addition, and perhaps most importantly, the results from this consultation will inform post-Paris decision-making, policy-making, and implementation in Scotland.

For the past month they have gathered just under 400 responses from people across all regions, demographics, ages, backgrounds, etc. and we are now approaching the final weeks of the consultation.  The more individual responses received, the stronger the sum of all of them will be.

If you live in Scotland, please take the time to respond to submit your individual response to the consultation:www.surveymonkey.com/r/ConversationsAboutCOP21
