We are just two days away from the World Day of Prayer for Creation!

On Sunday, Pope Francis spoke about the significance of the day to the faithful in St. Peter’s Square, describing the event as, “an opportunity to strengthen the common commitment to safeguard life, respecting the environment and nature.”

We hope that you’ve checked our website to see if you can join a prayer service near you on September 1st. If there isn’t a local prayer service that that you can attend, we invite you to join our Online Prayer Service for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. It will take place Thursday, September 1 at 8am US EDT/ 1 pm London (Check your local time here)

Representatives from Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, and Episcopalian churches from around the globe will guide us in a 30-minute service of prayer, silence, and reflection. Also, during the service there will be a chance for you to offer personal prayer intentions for creation and for our brothers and sisters.
