This course will run once a week during November and December, starting Thursday 8th Nov. for 5 weeks (7.30-9.30); a follow-up meeting will be held in the new year. Maximum numbers 12 – so if you are interested please apply early!
Cost £15 for the book to accompany the course. But don’t let the cost stop you applying.
This course looks at five areas relevant to climate change and what we can all do about it: 1.
Low-carbon futures – exploring possibilities.
Home energy – how to reduce energy consumption.
Travel & transport – how can we travel and minimise carbon emissions.
Food & water – in this meeting we explore how to make our diets healthy, enjoyable and low-carbon.
Consumption & waste – can we live contentedly with less?
The final session is a reunion in which we meet again to celebrate, reflect on learning, share progress, make plans and organise ongoing support.
