Church of the Sacred Heart launches “Operation Vegetables” project

The Sacred Heart Green Group, is launching a new project – Operation Vegetables – on Wednesday 11 March in the Small Hall at Lauriston from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

The project aims to involve as many people as possible in growing fresh vegetables for the nuns at St Catherine’s Convent, Lauriston Gardens, who run a busy Homelessness Soup kitchen. They are short of vegetables, and encourage donations of any kind of veg.

Anybody interested in getting involved is encouraged to contact us, and we will pass on your message to the Sacred Heart Green Group.
