On December 7th, ourvoices.net is lining up candle-solar lantern lit vigils all over the world in support of the Climate meeting (COP20) happening in Lima, Peru. Please see here for more information.

In Edinburgh, there will be a multi-faith service to which everyone is invited, on Sunday 7th December. Come and be a #LightForLIMA and help bring a positive message to world leaders to give them more determination to reach a good deal.

The multi-faith service will be on Sunday 7th at Small Hall, Community Church (CCE), South Clerk Sreet, Edinburgh. from 5pm-5.45pm. Please email Liz at copy@lizholt.co.uk if you intend to come along. To find CCE’s Small Hall go down the left-hand passageway beside the church – just press the buzzer beside the door and you will be welcomed in; the Small Hall is on the 1st floor.

There is also a climate gathering being organised at the east end of Princes’s Street at 11am on 6th December. Ourvoices.net are encouraging people who join this meeting to take a photo of a candle moment that evening when they’re back home, and post it on Facebook and Twitter.. in support of #LightForLIMA ….it’s just another way to show support and easy and fun to do.
