Assessors’ Training – Eco-Congregation Awards (Jan 15th and Jan 22nd)
January 15 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Are you looking for a volunteering opportunity with Eco-Congregation Scotland? We need more volunteer assessors to help us deliver our Eco-Congregations Awards scheme across Scotland.
Join us for this two-part online training to find out more about our awards programme and how you can get involved.
Part 1 – Monday 15th January. 7.30pm-8.30pm
Part 2 – Monday 22nd January. 7.30pm-8.30pm.
Please note we would ask that you attend both sessions to complete the training.
Assessors are responsible for visiting congregations that have applied for an award and confirming that they meet the award criteria. Assessing for Eco-Congregation Scotland is a rewarding way to share experience and ideas with other churches in the network.
You might be able to bring insights from your work, volunteering, church life or experience of applying for an award yourself.
Your time commitment and distances travelled are set by you, so it could be as little as a few hours every few months. If you are unable to travel we have some opportunities for assessments online so you can still get involved.
This training is also available as a refresher for any previous assessors who would like to come and assess for us again.
If you have any questions please get in touch, with our Administrative Coordinator Sarah.
Registration is below. You are welcome to attend the training to hear more before deciding if this opportunity is for you.
