ACT Alliance has published a new toolkit to support climate change advocacy at national and regional level: Towards the Ambitious Implementation of the Paris Agreement: A Toolkit for National Level Advocacy, which you can download here.
This toolkit has been designed to elaborate on the Paris Agreement, offer faith based perspective to key climate change policy areas, and provide practical and strategic approaches to climate change advocacy. It links the Paris Agreement to the three critically important instruments of implementation, i.e. National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Longterm Strategies (LTS).
Furthermore, the climate change advocacy toolkit links the implementation of the Paris Agreement to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.
Another key feature of this toolkit is the role of faith based organizations in implementing climate justice advocacy, taking advantage of the long standing work of these organizations and the opportunities that are ahead.
