Congratulations to Ardrishaig Parish Church, who gained their first Eco-Congregation award!

The assessors commended the congregation particularly on these points:

* The innovative ideas used in worship, such as sketches and eco slots, which very effectively communicate a wide range of creation care messages to the congregation;

* The well organised Beach Clean and other community links with the primary school, Guides etc.;

* Their support for Fair Trade;

* Use of their magazine, “Pointers”, to encourage action in the congregation and wider community; and

 * Making of bird boxes.
