The Marine Conservation Society are looking for volunteers to help with beach cleans between 16 and 21st September this year.  Last year, over 1400 people took part, but so far this year, only 79 have registered.

The 28 Scottish beaches where clean-ups are planned this year are:

Invergordon West, Kerrycroy, Kames Bay on Bute, Tain, Ettrick Bay on Bute’ Greyhope Beach, Nigg, Aberdeen North, East Haven, Bo’ness – Grangepans on the John Muir Way, Cramond, The Corran, Broughty Ferry East End, Blackness, Tentsmuir Point National Nature Reserve, Brora North, Arrochar Shore, Dornoch Sands, Port Alltan na Bradhan, Limekilns, Kinghorn Harbour, Forvie National Nature Reserve, Johnshaven, Ullapool East Shore Beach, Spey Bay, Arbroath West, Lunan Bay North, Tarbat.

If you are free and live near one of these beaches, maybe you could get together a group from your church to help out.
