Penicuik North Kirk has become our latest congregation to receive an Eco-Congregation Award! The congregation was particularly commended on:

•  The stewardship of the premises and the drive to have the space and the energy consumed exploited by as many people as possible.
• The analytical econo-environmental approach to refurbishment and maintenance of the buildings and the contents, and the way in which they continue to follow such principles in their present-day work.
• The hard work and sincerity of the church’s eco-team which has kept the church generally on the right track.
