Today is the first day of the Fair Trade Fortnight and the first day of being a Fair Trade nation. Well done us!
To show your support for Fair Trade check out if there are any events in your local area and make an extra effort to look for Fair Trade products when you go shopping.
There are a range of Fair Trade events happening all across Scotland including:
- Langside Parish Church will show the film BLACK GOLD about the coffee trade on Monday 4th March at 7.30 pm.
There will be coffee, tea and biscuits—all Fairtrade ! Also a taste of Fairtrade wine and nibbles. A minimum donation of £2 would be appreciated
- St Margaret’s Episcopal Church will have a Fair Trade coffee, shop & capers morning Saturday 9th March at 10.30am-12.30pm at 44 Aytoun Road Pollokshields. Contact Jan MacDonald for more details. Her email is jan.lynne2303@gmail.com
- Netherlee Parish Church will have a Green Fayre on Saturday 16th March from 10am to 4pm in Netherlee Church Halls & Netherlee Scout Hall. All welcome!
