Elgin St Giles’ and St Columba’s South Church Sunday School and Bible Class would like to share with you their flower planting initative to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The flowers were kinldy donated by the Monday Guild and have been planted around the newly completed church hall. The congregation is hoping that the new church will have a much reduced carbon footprint.

 Carola Smith, who shared this wonderful story says that:

As part of an Eco-Congregation the young people plan to care for their plants and hope to be able to create a habitat for wildlife by planting flowers which will attract bees and insects.
