Second Award for Kemnay Parish Church!

Kemnay Parish Church in Aberdeenshire recently gained their second Eco-Congregation Award.

The assessors were especially impressed by the church’s work in these areas:

* Thorough assessment of First Award recommendations and implementation of a number of them;

* Refurbishment of the Sanctuary and installation of increased efficiency heating and lighting system;

* Continuing review of efficiency requirements in equipment in the Church Centre, such as replacement of central heating boiler units; double flush toilets; and

* Growth of promotional activity for FairTrade goods and produce.
