CARES Conference 2018: Empowering the Local Energy Transition

Join Local Energy Scotland at the CARES Conference 2018, 18-19 April at The Corinthian, Glasgow to explore the big opportunities for community and local energy in Scotland’s changing energy landscape.

Paul Wheelhouse, Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy will give a keynote speech on day one of the conference, which focuses on new approaches to the challenges posed in meeting Scotland’s 2030 targets. A number of successful energy projects will also share their experiences. On the second day you’ll have the opportunity to get down to business and find out about funding and support available to help you get your local energy project up and running, no matter what stage you’re at.

The conference is free to attend and is aimed at communities involved in or looking to explore local energy projects, and those working alongside communities to help make this happen. Places are limited – don’t miss out!
